The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch soon, possibly as early as next week, with a press release rather than a full Apple event. The new model will adopt an iPhone 14-style design, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, a notch, and Face ID instead of Touch ID. It is also rumored to include USB-C charging and a customizable Action Button, replacing the traditional mute switch.
In terms of performance, the iPhone SE 4 could be powered by Apple’s A17 or A18 chip, making it significantly more powerful than its predecessor. It may also feature Apple’s first in-house 5G modem, which could improve battery efficiency. Speaking of battery life, the SE 4 is expected to have a larger battery (around 3279mAh) compared to previous SE models.
On the camera front, rumors suggest a major upgrade to a 48MP single rear camera, bringing it closer in quality to Apple’s flagship models. The front camera may also see improvements with the TrueDepth system for Face ID and better selfies.
The phone is expected to be available in Midnight (black), Starlight (white), and Product RED color options. Pricing is still uncertain, but it will likely be positioned as a budget-friendly alternative to Apple’s main iPhone lineup.
